Drawing and painting are studied throughout Y8-10 and students are introduced to the less tradition skills of print, ceramics, ICT and batik etc.  Alongside the practical work students learn about relevant artist, crafters and cultures to improve their contextual understanding.  
 
Students build on their knowledge and skills to work more in-depth and independently at GCSE & A Level.  They are encouraged to the use of a wide variety of media, as well as 2D, recent examples of outcomes are fashion, glass and moving image.
